Last night and this morning in northern Alberta we woke up to some snow after being well over 10 degrees for a couple weeks.

Well I decided to have some fun with my AWD Fusion Sport by the river valley this morning. Coming from a slow RWD car with snows to this car just blows my mind how solid it is in any weather deep snow and it doesn't even feel it. We have a base 4cyl fwd fusion too but it's slow and the traction control cuts power very quickly if it slips even a little.

Here's a little photo dump. Have an awesome Friday oppo!

Nice photos! I always kinda liked the Fusion Sport, it has the 3.7L V6, right?

it's a 263hp 3.5L V6 I would consider it a near sports sedan it's faster than it needs to be but nothing too crazy.

Right on, a friend of mine has a non-Sport V6 Fusion of the same vintage with a Steeda intake; which I rode in last year to a race weekend and it was a pretty good ride (sounded decent too). Though the leather was a little vinyl-y for my liking, but that's nit-picking.

that's the engine I'd pick if I had the choice. The 4cyl is so slow and very rough and the 3.5l V6 is a gas guzzler it gets worse fuel economy than our old ford 500 which had the 3.0L. especially with the AWD and actually gets about 250kms less range per tank than the smaller engine but at least it can handle anything winter throws at it.

Good call, another friend of mine has a brand new Fusion with the 2.5L 4cly and it is what I'd best describe as adequate. The mid-range V6 seems like the idea comprise between power and economy. Too bad Ford is deviating away from N/A V6's into their ecoboost 4cly's; the power and sound of the V6's in my mind is preferable.
